Bible Park USA (BPU), currently in the conceptual planning stage, is a
non-evangelical, non-denominational family-friendly Bible-based theme park
depicting well-known Bible stories,
built to the quality of Disney World and to
the scale and size of Dollywood in East Tennessee.
The Park will be a
full-day
attraction for guests.
Why Rutherford County, Tennessee?
After months of research and study, developers have focused on Rutherford County, Tennessee, as a leading site for the Park. The following area key factors in choosing Rutherford County:
•
Location (in the central U.S.) – The Nashville-Davidson-Murfreesboro MSA is one
day’s drive from 75 percent of the U.S. population.
• Abundant access to
interstates and roads leading to every corner of the U.S.
• Available acreage
of the size needed.
• Excellent and strategic proximity to Nashville – a
major tourism center.
• Proximity to related resources, such as religious
musical artists in the Nashville area who would hold special concerts at the
Park.
• Excellent and abundant work force, and
• A strong regional focus
on and belief in the Bible.

I love the idea of an amusement park, but not in Rutherford County. The congestion is already bad enough. If the prime reasons for chosing Murfreesboro are; it's close to NASHVILLE; musicians from NASHVILLE will conduct concerts,The NASHVILLE-Davidson MSA is one day’s drive from 75 percent of the U.S. population, then why not put it IN NASHVILLE? The infrastructure is already in place near Opry Mills; Hotels, shopping, a water slide park... Therefore it makes more sense to me to build an amusement park somewhere near all these other attractions. This would bring more tourists into Nashville's businesses as well. More families would take their vacation in Nashville because there would be something for their children to enjoy. Imagine people taking their vacation to see the theme park, Opry Mills, The Nashville Zoo & Splash Country. Business owners all over the Nashville-Davidson area would love the increase in sales as well. Just a thought...

This proposed theme park is a terrible idea for our area. These theme parks only tend to attract littering outsiders, lots of trash, traffic, pollution, and crime. Furthermore, an amusement park would serve to encourage our governments to rely even more upon the highly regressive 9.35% sales tax in this state. This is an unacceptable plan for our area. we are already experiencing enough growth at this time and do not need the added problems that would come with a theme park.
